This arrived with the box in disarray and two pieces (shelves that would be visible) badly chipped. It's also got 7 pages of instructions and only 4 of the 20+ pieces were actually labeled. After 2.5 hours of assembly, only the drawers are assembled. The wood is solid, but overall this is not worth the hassle.

Remember what you pay for this-- it isn't fine furniture you're going to pass down to your ancestors. BUT, for the price it is very functional and attractive. It looks great in our contemporary media room, and holds kid's books and DVD's. It was easy to put together.

The Cosmos Bookcase is a perfect item for a teenage room. The bookcase stands out as hip and contemporary. The shelves are height adjustable, which means that you can even fit a 19 inch flat screen television in between. The drawers are a great size for video games and books or socks and underwear. The bookcase is sturdy and easy to build and comes with step by step instructions.
