This crib is exactly what we needed for our small bedroom. It's a full size crib but takes up minimal space. It took my husband and 10 year old son about 2 hours to put together but I'm sure it would have been a lot quicker had they read the instructions first... I haven't noticed any of the "bug bites" or odd looking grain that other reviewers were complaining about, our wood is very smooth, no imperfections at all. Note that this crib is VERY short, about the same height as our Graco Pack n Play. There's no way you could store anything or put a shelf trundle underneath. The crib is incredibly sturdy for such a small looking thing, doesn't move or wiggle at all. It doesn't look or feel cheap at all. I did have a hard time finding the exact size mattress to fit in it (even though it has a small frame it calls for a slightly larger mattress). Eventually I found the perfect fit with the Sealy Baby Firm Rest Crib Mattress.

My only complaint about the crib so far is the packing, yes, the crib was very well packed and arrived very secure and scratch free but when we opened it had a coating of dust covering the entire thing, I have no idea what this dust was (maybe some sort of preserve thing?) but it made all of our hands swell up and burn. So I'd recommend wearing gloves while unpacking and wiping it down right away.

Overall this is probably the most well made crib you're going to get at this price, which is awesome right now and the cheapest price you'll get anywhere. The only reason I removed a star was because I do wish it had even a tiny bit of room underneath to store stuff.

We have had this crib for the past 10 months and love it. It was very easy to assemble, the instructions for clear and end result was perfect. We had no problem with finding a mattress to fit the crib like others had mentioned they had. It is the perfect size and style and fits so nicely in my sons room. He loves his crib and so do we. I would recommend this crib to anyone who asks, which i've already done!

This is crib #3 for me. When hubby and I were searching for cribs, I was a bit disappointed about the styles that were out there. We were ideally were looking for a convertible crib that would save us time and money down the road. I stumbled across this crib and fell in love with it at first site. I always read consumer reviews on just about everything that we purchase and found that this crib not only met our expectations but exceeded them. It looks like a crib that was hand made. I cannot say enough. It is well designed and well built. The height of the crib is perfect, not like the other "reaching for the sky" heights. The color is exactly as it appears. We love it. This is the only crib I would ever buy or recommend. The price is terrific, the list goes on. Although all the wood in our house is cherry, I decided to go with the Cappuccino. It looks great. Love it, love it, love it!!!!!!!I hope this helps those in search.I consider this an excellent investment. We bought the breathable bumper pad to go with this. Looks great and most importantly is safe for our little one.
