My husband got the demy for me as a gift. It is an awesome device. I put all of my recipes from my "box" on it and am steadily adding more from the internet by "cutting and pasting" (or just tying them in). So nice to have it sitting on the counter...no mess...just click a button and read.... I have to give it 5 stars!!!

Now your mom has access to a million recipies on any website... and so much more.
I'm sure mom would love to skype with her kids while baking their birthday cakes!

Why do people buy ridiculously specialized products rather than realize they can do iton what they already have.

OK - I never leave reviews....mostly b/c I never find the time. But for this I must.

I have wanted this for more than a year. I chickened out of getting it before b/c of so many poor reviews. But I now have one and I think it is amazing. It is basic for the high price. But it is a great recipe file and it puts all my recipes in one convenient place. It's truly wonderful!

No more am I printing off recipes or hauling my laptop into the kitchen. If I NEVER see another index card in my kitchen....that will be just fine!

Any problems or questions that I have had....have all been answered right away with live chat. Preloaded recipes were removed in one quick chat with a guy named Heath.

Anyway...it is a great product. Yes it could be more advanced. It would be nice if it wasn't just a dummy reader. But then again...I think inputting recipes on it would be tedious.

It is great!
