Delivery was prompt. The light has 3 parts; a plastic "spike" about 4" long which goes into the ground, a tube which is meant to sit upon the below ground "spike" and the lamp housing which sits on the tube. The spike is very difficult to find once it is buried. The light cannot be easily straightened by pushing- this can result in breakage. Construction is cheap.

These lights are terrible. I charge them and they stay lit for maybe two hours. I live in Arizona so it is not like we don't have enough sun power to charge something solar. I am very disappointed to have wasted my money on these.

I love the Ozeri Digital Kitchen Scale. It is also stainless steel so it matches the rest of my kitchen. I checked the weight of many things and it was so much more accurate than the cheap scale I bought at the local store. I wish I would of had this when I started my diet as I was only allowed to eat 100 grams of meat and the other scale I had was not digital and was scared I was doing it wrong. You can also change from grams to ounces so which ever you need you have it. I love it and cant wait to use it more.

The room it is being used to heat is relatively large; it is actually 2 rooms connected. The heater doesn't take long to warm up. Of course, same as all heaters, all windows & doors must be closed for the heater to really work effectively. I think this heater's oscillating feature helps. I would not give this heater 5 stars because I noticed the power cord tends to heat up if left on for awhile.

I bought this mostly because of the 4.5 star rating, but it's a mediocre heater. In terms of heating the room it does a good job for its size, but it has many poor design aspects.

The most frustrating thing about this heater is the controls. We'd like to use this to keep our bedroom at 65 each night, and so each night we must press Power, then Temp six times to cycle from default Max heat to 75, 80, 85, Max (again), 60, then 65, then we must press Oscillate. It has no way to remember your preferred settings even if you leave it plugged in all the time.

Letting you set temperature only in five degree increments is also annoying. I bought another small heater a number of years ago that I think was the same price and it let you choose temperature in 1-degree increments, though it doesn't heat nearly as well as this heater.

The carrying handle is angled so the weight of the heater is pulling the heater away from your fingers instead of pushing your fingertips deeper into the handle as would make sense. So if your fingers are sweaty or slippery in any way, or if you just bump the heater wrong while carrying it, the heater can easily slip off your fingers.

The power usage of this heater is not as advertised. My Kill-a-watt meter says it uses 1297 watts at high heat (it's supposed to be 1500 watts) and 1100 watts at low heat (it's supposed to be 900 watts). I'm glad it doesn't use over 1500 watts at least since that would be a fire hazard.

I knew it didn't have a "tip over" sensor when I bought it, and with some people complaining about heaters turning themselves off due to malfunctioning sensors I was sort of glad it didn't have a sensor, but now that I actually own it and see how tall and narrow it is, I'm a little uncomfortable. Luckily we have only a single cat and she's almost never knocked anything over, but anyone with pets or kids should think twice before buying this model. The more I think about it, the more I wonder why they can't they include a quality tilt sensor in every heater model? Why should anyone have to worry about such a fire risk to save the cost of a cheap sensor?

Some people have complained about plugs overheating in Lasko heaters, especially in the reviews of the "remote control" model (which is part of the reason I bought this one instead), so I tried running it on Max heat using a few different plugs around the house. On one plug it got somewhat hot, while on others it was much less hot. Since they warn you in the manual not to use it if the plug fits loosely, I think the plug heat depends on how good a contact with the outlet it makes. If it makes poor contact, I'm guessing that high resistance across the gap between outlet and plug is what causes the overheating.

When I opened the box I was surprised to see how small this was, and I immediately thought it would not be sufficient. WRONG! The room I heat is about 11 x 24. It has a sliding glass door that doesn't seal shut so ALOT of air comes in. The door is blocked with blankets and various makeshift items but the curtain still billows when the wind blows, so it gets pretty cold. The heater oscillates and has temperature settings from 60-85 in 5 degree increments. I put the heater on top of my desk, pointed it at my recliner, and set it to 80 degrees. It felt pretty good, especially if I stayed in the chair.

Then I needed space on my desk and had to set the heater on the floor. Wow that made a huge difference. It not only warmed that room it warmed the dining room, the doorway to it being 15 feet away and up 2 stairs! In this position I rarely move the setting above 65! And every time I come back into the room from the kitchen or living room I say, "Man, its warm in here".
I don't notice the noise it makes until I turn it off but I don't think its loud. It's certainly quieter than a box fan.

I know heat rises but having long forgotten my science classes, I don't know why it works so much better on the floor, but it does. It sits on tile in front of the sliding door and blows across carpet if that matters, but whatever the reason I am extremely pleased with this heater and would definitely recommend it to others.

Got tired of glue traps. Hated the standard metal bar traps where you figure your finger will eventually get broken. I wondered if these had enough force, but they're wonderful and easy to dump the mice right out. Saw them in a hardware store and then went searching online and found them at Amazon.

I bought four of these traps, and had great luck with the little grey mice. With the kitchen clean and everything in plastic containers, the mice went for these traps.

But one in three times, the mouse was caught but alive when I found it the next morning.

This trap doesn't kill instantly, it squeezes the mice so they suffocate. I had misgivings about the slow, painful deaths, so I recommend catch and release or a snap trap that has enough force to kill mice quickly.

They are easy to set, empty, and they really do catch mice. There are some black look-alikes, but they do not work!

    Machine arrived rapidly.Exterior box was undamaged, but the interior packing and machine were damaged, showing the damage occured in packing at the factory. The ice shaver still worked wonderfully! The damage was to the handle and was due to two causes: 1) design flaw by using cast metal to form the handle, which is known to be very brittle. 2) packing at the factory, this must have been very rough as the styrofoam was torn in putting the shaver into the box with excessive force to have sheared the handle off the hopper filler and dented the receiving bowl with it.When I contacted seller I received immediate and satisfactory response. Even with damage this machine is a 5 star piece of fine quality. My purpose is for home use only, so sheared off handle isn't a detriment to me, but if I had wanted this for commercial use it would have been. Believe me, this machine could be used in a commercial setting with no problems, if the handle had been intact, its that fast and rugged!!! I love my machine and it works fantastic on refridgerator ice maker cubes, tray made cubes, and store bought ice cubes. I haven't tried chips off a store bought block as I don't want to work that hard getting them down small enough to fit in hopper, 3"x3" or less. Safety stop is fast when you lift the handle the blade stops before the hopper top is reached and remains stopped as long as handle is in the up position so there is no chance whatever of getting any fingers near the blade while it is running. Clean up is fast using just tap water and mild bleach solution on a rag, then rinse with plain water and dry with paper towel or drying cloth. I keep the hopper open to air dry the blade. When all clean and dry between uses I cover the entire machine with a towel to keep it clean and leave it sit on a plastic cutting board next to my stand mixer on the kitchen countertop. I would recomend keeping it on a plastic cutting board at all times to keep from scratching countertops.

    Recieved the product timely and it passed its first test run. It quickly shaved the ice without any problems. It is a gift, so I have only used it once to make sure it operated correctly.

    The instructions were difficult to follow, and were clearly written (translated?) by somebody who was not fluent in English.

    First the good: The machine performs well and does its job for a relatively cheap price. Most heavy duty ice shavers/crushers start at $300+. The motor looks big and is heavy, so I am hoping that it will last a long time.
    The bad: It's Chinese made. Most machines probably are missing screws by the time they get delivered. Don't bother using the screws that it comes with to hold the motor in place. Instead get yourself some short stumpy wood type screws since the housing is made of plastic and the machine comes with metal screws that require the housing to have a fine threading. Something that thin plastic wasn't meant to do well. The threading wears out very quickly and the metal screws fall off.

    This is the most economical, practical over the sink dish drainer on the market. I have never had a dishwasher and rely on this dish drainer to hold the family's dishes. It does rust over time. It takes about 4 years until it needs replacing, but it's a small price given the low purchase price. I was really dismayed when I thought it was off the market and procrastinated long enough for it to magically reappear.

    The drainer works well and fits into the sink except for bumping into the old drain connection air breaker for the dishwasher. The only down side we found was that the dish drainer does not have a silverware container which would have been nice.

    I have not been able to use this yet so I can not comment on how well it works. I can tell you that it is sufficiently long enough to check the center of a compost pile.

    The problem I've had with compost thermometers is their flimsy-ness: if you so much as twist the dial while getting the thing out of the package, it won't work. This thermometer boasts a much more durable construction; it is virtually impossible to accidently twist the dial. Also, the shaft is much more solid than a lot of compost thermometers. I use these in my barn to monitor the temps on hay bales; they have proven to be not only sturdy but also to give accurate temperature readings.
