I bought these because I wanted a small set of Bluetooth buds to wear to listen to my iPhone on the way to work and then slip them in my pocket. I also had been using Motorola S305 Bluetooth headset at the gym and had heard that the foam earpads would eventually break down due to the sweat, so I figured these would be good for the gym too.

Well, the long/short of it is that the effective range for the Bluetooth to work without constantly dropping out is stupidly short. It seems to depend on the environment, and the radio interference in that environment, but at the gym, I pretty much HAD to use an armband with my iPhone on the same side as the BT receiver to get it to work even remotely consistently. And walking down the streets of downtown Boston to work, with my iPhone in my pants pocket, I would get frequent drop outs. It got so annoying I have stopped using them.

I missed the return date to send these back so they are basically just laying around. I have since have gone back to using my rock-solid dependable Motorola S305's at the gym and have NEVER had a single drop-out. The earpads may eventually break down but they've held up fine for over a year, and the S305's are such a bargain that I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again if the earpads do eventually break down.

Your mileage may (and probably will) vary, but if you buy these and the music starts cutting out every few seconds, do yourself a favor and return them, there is no easy fix, unless maybe you think it's fashionable to wear your iPhone around your neck with a lanyard.

These are a great pair of bluetooth. The charge last all day the fit and design are perfect for my small ear The sound is amazing and blocks out the outside noise. The choice of wrap around ear part makes it even better to stay on the ear. The only thing bad about this pair is if the cord moves it cuts out but cuts right back in
